Climate Engineering Companies is a heavy-duty truck and trailer repair company with multiple locations. We are looking for a talented individual to join our growing team in Springfield, MA.
Ideal candidates should be motivated and have the desire to succeed and grow with us. Our Service Writers are an integral part of the Service Department, working with both the Service Manager and our Service Technicians to ensure that all invoices are processed efficiently and accurately.
Preferred candidates have experience in data entry, customer service, and keen attention to detail. Experience in the truck/trailer industry a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Working directly with the Service Managers and Service Technicians to process daily paperwork
- Adhering to the Service Process to ensure accuracy and timely processing of orders
- Processing payments for COD customers (credit cards, priority cards, com-checks, etc.)
- Entering Service Orders into the system daily and managing all open/completed orders
- Serving as a back-up and support for Service Writers in other locations
Skills Required:
- Computer skills - must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Phone skills - ability to communicate with co-workers and customers in a professional manner even in stressful situations
- Must be very detail-oriented and organized
- Must have the ability to multi-task, and have the dedication to see all projects through to completion with limited errors
- Must have effective time management skills
- Must be able to pass background and drug screen
