General Responsibilities:
The Therapist will be under the direction of the Clinical Director and will be primarily responsible for providing therapeutic services for the residents of the facility, as well as conduct intake assessments under the supervision of the Clinical Director, as requested, by DSS/DJJ/DCS.
Duties:
1. Provide regular therapeutic services for an individual caseload of residents.
2. Conduct intake process after admission to program to evaluate residents’ physical or mental condition, based on review of available information and interview(s).
3. Complete psychological assessments as requested by DCS.
4. Provide a clinical diagnosis, as necessary, through use of DSM-5 and consultation with Clinical Director.
5. Participate in Child and Family Team Meetings, as requested, to provide updates on treatment goals.
6. Complete documentation for resident case records in a timely manner and provide to Program Case Managers.
7. Perform crisis interventions with youth when necessary.
8. Follow all applicable policies of Wayne Halfway House, Inc.
9. Demonstrate competence in cultural knowledge, awareness, and sensitivity.
Qualifications and Experience:
A Master’s Degree from an accredited academic program in a field related to Human Service is required.
NO FELONY CONVICTIONS. Must pass a drug screen and background check and maintain eligibility for continued employment.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
