What You’ll Do
As a System Administrator II, you will oversee the upgrades of current network and help achieve the consolidation of remote offices into a centralized infrastructure. This position is responsible for assisting users with technical support related to hardware and software systems problem solving, solutions, and basic technical training.
Promptly troubleshoot, resolve, and document incidents and requests submitted to the ticketing system.
Test and debug software and hardware issues in order to provide solutions to reported problems.
Coordinate the resolution of hardware/software system problems.
Install, update, and configure desktop software and hardware desktop and laptop systems.
Advise and assist end users with the operation and use of systems.
Prioritize requests according to importance and length of time in queue.
Perform periodic maintenance of systems.
Provide friendly customer service in a courteous manner via phone, email and in person.
Complete any additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Experience
Expert knowledge and experience with PC troubleshooting
Expert knowledge and experience with basic networking
Basic knowledge and experience in network cabling
Basic understanding of Active Directory
Basic understanding on Server and Workstation OSS
Solid communication skills
Self starter, capable of working alone or in a group
Role is 100% on-site, and may require some travel.
