Overview: We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (3-5 years experience) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of progressive experience in human resources, demonstrating strong capabilities in handling various HR functions and providing strategic guidance to support our members’ organizational goals. The role requires flexibility, excellent prioritization skills, and the ability to pivot seamlessly between tasks and projects.
Responsibilities/Skills:
Employee Relations:
- Assist with inquiries, issues, and grievances related to employment matters.
- Conduct investigations and provide resolutions in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies to foster a positive work environment.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for various roles within the organization.
- Source candidates, conduct interviews, and facilitate the selection process.
- Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
HR Compliance and Policy Development:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Performance Management:
- Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement plans.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops, both in-person and virtual.
HR Administration:
- Maintain HR records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare reports and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration as needed.
Project Management and Strategic Initiatives:
- Lead HR projects such as organizational restructuring, culture initiatives, or process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve HR and organizational objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or Consultant.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications.
- Certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP is preferred.
