We are looking for a highly skilled, customer focused equestrian to join our team as a Stable Attendant! As a Stable Attendant, you are responsible for the guest experience within the resort stables and ensuring those guests have an enjoyable experience by engaging with the guests in a courteous and efficient manner. The Stable Attendant greets guests and introduces the facilities and program components to individuals and groups. This individual will ensure that the area remains clean and stocked with every essential and assist guests with any needs or requests they may have.

Your role:

Maintains trails and pastures and horse stall areas.

Prepares horses for rides. Checking for injuries and applying medication where needed

Cleaning and oiling of saddles and gear

Daily cleaning of barns, pastures, and facilities.

Feeding and watering horses.

Daily horse care (grooming, turnout, bringing horses in from pasture, tacking and untacking for etc.).

Repairing of fencing, tack and other equipment normally used at a riding stable
-
Seeing that equipment and gear are stored properly in saddle or feed rooms
-
Completes all other duties as assigned by management.

Must maintain the policy of this company to conduct operations in a manner that will prevent injuries to people and damage to property and equipment and that will comply with all applicable regulations for safety and health.

Qualifications:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent

Someone with an engaging and welcoming personality

Someone with a strong attention to detail

A minimum of 3 years Proficient riding ability and knowledge of horse care in either a work or personal care environment.

Someone with excellent communication skills

Someone with the ability to ride a horse for up to 7 hours at a time
-
Someone who can frequent bend, push/pull, and lifting/carrying of up to 50 lbs. and occasional lifting/carrying of up to 80 lbs.

Someone with a flexible schedule that allows them to work weekends and holidays
Compensation Range: The compensation for this position is $22.66/Yr. - $28.33/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
