**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Banquet Captain to oversee our banquet operations and ensure the seamless execution of events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality management and delivering exceptional customer service.
**Duties:** - Including but not limited to
- Coordinate and supervise banquet staff during events
- Manage food service operations, including overseeing the kitchen and coordinating with cooks
- Handle POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Maintain inventory control for banquet supplies and food items
- Ensure smooth event flow and address any guest concerns promptly
- Responsible for banquet preperation and set up in the days leading up to the event
**Experience:**
- Previous experience in food service management, preferably in a banquet setting
- Proficiency in managing banquets, including setup, service, and breakdown
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest requests efficiently
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Experience with inventory control in a banquet or hospitality environment
