We seek an honest, careful and committed staff accountant/bookkeeper to join our team. In this role the ideal candidate will:
- be an expert with Quickbooks Desktop Premier - at least 3 years of verifiable experience
- have a 2 or 4 year degree in accounting or similar field
- have proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables experience a plus)
- interact professionally with our customers, vendors and employees in a considerate manner
- be responsible for all A/P, A/R and reconciliations
- verify accuracy of transactions
- excel at multi-tasking and prioritizing
- work well with the office administrator, outside accounting firm, and report to the President of the company
- prepare financial statements to assist company management, including balance sheet, PL and cash flows
This job is in-person at our facility in Cleveland, Ohio. Pay is hourly. It is an industrial environment with an office setting. We care about our employees and want to see them flourish.
