We are seeking a self-driven and results-oriented Outside Sales and Estimating Specialist to join our growing team as we expand into the Seattle/Edmonds/Mercer Island market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Growing our customer base and driving revenue growth through aggressive lead generation and follow-up
- Conducting outside sales and creating estimates for floor coatings jobs
- Building strong relationships with customers and providing exceptional customer service, both with consumers and businesses
- Traveling to meet with customers and prospects in the Seattle / Puget Sound area

Key Job Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and expansion targets in the Seattle / Puget Sound market
- Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas: Meet or exceed designated sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure sales revenue growth and market penetration
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors through aggressive prospecting activities, including lead generation and follow-up
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our floor coating products and services, including features, benefits, applications, and technical specifications, to serve as a trusted resource for customers, and technicians, and to stay up-to-date with new product releases and service offerings.
- Create and deliver sales quotes and estimates for floor coatings jobs and/or garage storage solutions, and conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our products and services
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key business clients and partners in the territory
- Participate in local business trade shows and events as needed to demonstrate the product and capture potential leads
- Collaborate with the franchise corporate marketing partners to develop promotional strategies and materials tailored to the local market
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth in the territory
- Track sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to management
- Work with the installation team to manage job scheduling for booked jobs in the territory
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of lead, customer, sales tasks, and quotes in a CRM system, ensuring up-to-date and organized sales pipeline management
- Periodically assist flooring technicians with job site tasks, product application, and customer service to ensure efficient project delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Must pass a background check
- Sales Experience: 3+ years of success in business development or sales roles, preferably in the construction or home improvement industry
- Education: College degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent relevant job experience)
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license in good standing with a clean driving record and a reliable, well-kept vehicle for customer visits
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends (targeting 40 hours/week)
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management abilities
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs (on occasion to assist the installation team)
- Dress Code: Maintain a well-groomed appearance and adhere to a business casual dress code for sales visits
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of floor coatings or related products/services
- Experience with digital/social-media marketing
- Experience with Service Titan software
- Experience with B2B selling
