Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To establish and maintain effective, respectful working relationships with managers and
colleagues.
Working under direct supervision and direction of Camaloch Office Manager
Attend department meetings and/or operational meetings as required by office
manager.
Participates in regular safety meetings
Demonstrates proper Health and Safety working practices within the department.
To become proficient in the operation of all association maintenance machinery with
guidance from the Superintendent.
Operates large mowers, tractors and other light equipment in a safe and efficient
manner.
Responsible for checking fluid levels before operating any machine.
Responsible for reporting any abnormalities discovered while operating machinery to
supervisor.
Returns all equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility; wash
equipment at the end of each day.
Golf Course Equipment Maintenance and Repair
Assists and learns best practices with the coordination/scheduling of equipment readiness in
coordination with superintendent.
Servicing All mowers, utility vehicles, sprayers, backhoe, tractor, etc.
Reels / Blades kept sharp and in good repair (as applicable)
Back lapped and/or ground as necessary
Oil/filters/spark plugs
Hydraulic hoses/fittings
Electrical components kept clean, in good operating condition
Tires inspected, adjusted, fixed, or replaced as needed.
Service and maintaining Dump Truck and Truck
Kept clean (inside and out), in good operating condition

Brakes, wiper blades, electrical (signals, break lights, etc.) serviced annually
(or as needed)
Oil/filters, tune ups
Tires proper inflation (in good repair)
Overall shop and equipment storage areas
Kept clean, washed and swept out as needed
Tools kept in good repair, organized and replaced as needed (consult Superintendent)
Ordering/Receiving (parts/supplies)
As requested by Superintendent the mechanic will order parts and supplies.
Expensed against appropriate department and/or piece of equipment (if applicable)
Golf Cars
Overall maintenance of golf cars
Repairs / parts ordered as needed
Service – Water batteries in electric golf cars every two (2) weeks.
Driving Range
Maintenance and repair of Range picker and ball carriage
Maintenance and repair of ball washer
Clubhouse
Service and Repair compressor as needed.
Maintenance and repair of pro shop
Community
Service and repair main gate operators, inspecting annually.
Repair and maintenance of rental house
Responding to service requests at rental house
Service and maintain irrigation pump house
Service and maintain lake aeration unit
Service and repairs at Pools 1 & 2
Service and repairs at chalet
Assisting with camaloch water system and water meters
Repair and maintenance of equipment at Smith Lake
Perform the following duties on the golf course or in the Camaloch association as directed by
Superintendent:
Maintain teeing ground.
Weed tee surrounds and other turf areas.
Plant bushes, shrubs, and other plants.
Edges, rakes, and maintains sand bunkers.

Edges cart paths and around fairway yardage markers.
Hand raking leaves and other debris.
Operates gators, blowers, mowers, aerifier and spraying equipment.
Apply divot mix to driving range tee and other tees on the golf course.
Fill divot bottles with divot mix.
Clean restrooms and break room as assigned.
Weed eating around trees, bunkers, and cart path curbs.
Mow greens with walking greens mower.
Pick up grass piles.
Lay sod.
Mow tees with walking mower and green approaches with riding mower.
Must be able to service the golf course. These duties include changing green flags,
putting cups, moving rope and barricades, and moving tee markers.
Must be able to move directional barricades, ropes, and stakes.
Must be able to drive turf vehicles and mowers.
Blow cart paths with backpack blowers or riding blowers.
Helps in project work; assists in the construction and seeding of new greens, tees and
fairways.
Cleans Camaloch association drainage ditches and roads as needed.
Replaces sprinkler heads and works on irrigation lines as needed
Trims trees and limbs, sawing and hauling debris
Cleaning up after storms and weather events
Basic operation of backhoe, dump truck, and other heavy equipment
Maintains community roads during winter conditions (ie. Snow and ice)
Maintains community flowerbeds and park areas
Maintains chalet area
Maintains pro shop and parking lot areas
Landscaping around pro shop, restaurant, and entrance areas
Perform all job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
1-2 years of experience in golf course care or landscaping work
Valid Washington State Driver's License
Work Environment:
Often outdoors in extreme weather conditions. (Cold, Rain, Heat, Wind, etc)
Work requires regular attendance, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule
with willingness to work a flexible and/or rotating schedule
