Position Summary:
A Data Programmer Analyst for JSM’s Information Services Group will be responsible for importing, transforming, validating, and integrating customer data in preparation of print production. This role will also provide off-hours support.
Essential Functions:

Collaborate with Client Services and Information Services’ teams to identify data needs and design solutions to convert data and support workflows.

Analyze client and production needs to develop production-oriented solutions which interface with existing systems and applications.

Write and optimize in-application SQL formatting.

Comply with client-specified business rules as well as internal standards.

Complete data mapping, cleansing and validation.
-
Assist with production support to correct discrepancies.

Seek and recommend solutions and design improvements.

Apply security best practices when working with client data.

Leverage tools to comply with domestic and international mailing regulations.

Comply with company policies and procedures and promote company values and culture.
Additional Responsibilities:

Provide off-hours support.

Performs other duties as may be assigned.
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Two or more years professional experience preferred but not required.
Willing to train the right person
Essential:
Proficiency with data conversion concepts.
Proficiency in gathering/analyzing/documenting data requirements.
Proficiency in troubleshooting common database issues.
Commitment to detail.
