Full job description
Year-round, high volume, tax office is seeking a receptionist who is responsible for greeting clients and advising preparers their client has arrived, answering incoming calls on multi-line phone, greeting and assisting clients for pickups and drop offs.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct all incoming phone calls on multi-line phone system in an accurate and timely manner
- Greeting and warmly welcoming our clients
- Building client loyalty by providing excellent customer service
- Ability to handle a high volume of clients during busy tax filing times
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Checking clients in and out of their appointments efficiently
- Processing payments
- Quickly and accurately scan documents
- Assisting with other job duties as needed
About you
- Minimum of 1+ years previous clerical experience including receptionist duties
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to handle a multi-line phone, basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to maintain professional composure in multiple situations
- Eager to learn and grow in your new position
What we offer
· Office Hours Monday- Thursday 9-5 and Fridays 9-12 from April 16th- January 1st
· Typical Shift Monday-Friday 9-5 January 1st- April 15th

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
