Position Overview: As an Orthodontist at Groton Wellness, you will play a vital role in providing orthodontic care as part of our integrative health services. Your primary responsibilities will involve delivering high-quality orthodontic treatments to our patients with a focus on airway optimization and early intervention orthodontics.
You will work in a supportive environment that values collaboration and continuous learning.
Your role will include diagnosing and treating orthodontic conditions, advising patients on orthodontic and oral health, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to integrate orthodontic care with our center's broader wellness philosophy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthodontics, excellent patient care skills, a minimum of three years of experience, and a dedication to early intervention and airway optimization.

Work Schedule: 3 days per week – evenings included
Growing practice to four (4) days per week within 1 year
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Provide high-quality orthodontic care to patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families on oral health, orthodontic treatment options, and approaches to healthy nutrition and lifestyle.
- Stay current with advancements in orthodontics and biological dentistry practices.
- Refer patients to other health practitioners within our center, when appropriate.
- Undertake follow-up appointments to assess patient progress.
- Occasionally be on call to patients, either in person, by phone, or by email.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional practice area.
- Work to high ethical and professional standards, ensuring safe and legal practice.
- Build and maintain strong patient relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with other team members to create seamless and enjoyable experiences for patients.
- Maintain a positive attitude, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere within the practice.
- Work independently and confidently while contributing positively to the team dynamic.
- Actively pursue personal wellness and growth in mind, body, and spirit.

- Clearly communicate with patients to identify needs and set clear expectations.
- Cross-promote within Groton Wellness, documenting recommendations on treatment plans and in patient charts.
- Follow Groton Wellness System / Documentation Flow.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts license as a Dentist.
- DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
- Dedication to integrity and achieving the highest standards of ethical patient care
- At least 3 years of experience as an orthodontist.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn about early intervention and airway optimization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Compensation:
- This position offers a compensation structure based on collections. Details will be discussed during the interview process.
