Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect patient information, update medical records, and verify insurance coverage
- Assist chiropractors with patient examinations and treatments
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing office correspondence
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and treatment rooms
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Spanish speaking
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing patient information and documentation
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
