Job Responsibilities:
- Issue RFPs, perform complex bid evaluations, negotiate contracts to include price, schedule, scope, performance guarantees, specifications, and other legal and commercial terms favorable to HomeServe for engagements within assigned categories.
- Analyzes Suppliers within assigned categories to evaluate technical strengths and weaknesses. Works with business owners to help guide better decisions based on cost, delivery, customer service.
- Applies category management savings strategies, including working with stakeholders on demand management reviews, internal process improvement, and supplier reviews.
- Qualifies new suppliers and reviews current supplier mix for business requirements and needs.
- Holds self and others accountable for meeting goals and business objectives.
- Reports status updates regularly to internal business owners and Sr. Director of Sourcing and Procurement.
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizes project workload.
- Helps develop and implement sourcing strategies across the business.
- Identifies process improvements and assist in implementing them.
- Helps to define and update sourcing policies and implement sourcing systems.
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
- Well rounded, self-confident, outgoing personality able to work with many different areas of the business and able to listen and communicate effectively.
- Creative in developing negotiating strategies, especially when there is only one source.
- Understands the business folks are the “customers” of Sourcing. Keen on adding value for the customers.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and multi-task, addressing many different needs within the business at one time by working efficiently.
- Track record in achieving savings for the organizations for whom he/she works.
- Must be detail oriented and have a good understanding of contract language, e.g. limit of liability, indemnification, termination, warranty clauses.
- An ability to adapt and thrive in a demanding environment where you are competing for people’s time.
- Strong project management skills; sensitive to delivering on time.
- Experience in risk mitigation in supplier selection and contracting.
- Approaches supplier negotiations and partnerships with a view of the total cost of ownership in mind.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Background in sourcing projects that involve the handling of PII and PCI DSS requirements is a plus.
- Ability to manage to deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree – Supply Chain, Business, Finance/Accounting preferred.
- CPM certification is a plus.
- Intermediate skills with Excel, Word, Outlook
Work Environment
Work is performed primarily in office during a Monday through Friday work week. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to low in office settings.

Salary Range: $79,568.00 to $116,699.00
Bonus Potential: 10%
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed, education, experience, travel requirements for the job, and/or other business and organizational needs.
