We're on the lookout for a talented Integration Engineer II with expertise in process controls, especially Allen Bradley PLC coding, to join our team. In this role, you won't just be a cog in the machine – you'll be an integral part of a team of specialists, collaborating to craft and refine control systems that power baggage handling systems within a major US airport.
This salaried exempt position reports to the Manager, Controls Engineering. At this time, we are unable to pay relocation expenses and we cannot sponsor work authorization visas. And although this position is an individual contributor, leadership and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

Providing hands-on coding and programming support on-site.

Keeping the gears turning smoothly by maintaining and troubleshooting PLC systems.

Sometimes, this role entails physical demands, such as ascending slip or ship ladders, navigating obstacles, operating in low light, enduring varying temperatures, and occasionally maneuvering through confined spaces to perform maintenance tasks.

Requirements:
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in process automation, particularly with PLCs and on-site coding

Ability to grasp complex applications quickly.
-
Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in instrumentation and conveyors.

Proficiency with at least one major PLC hardware platform (Allen-Bradley preferred)

Strong oral and written communication skills

Willingness to work in industrial environments with exposure to heat, dirt, and noise. Remain stationary for up to 50% of a shift/work hours and while on job sites, must be able to walk airports and plants and remain standing for most of the shift. Must be able to navigate obstacles within a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in using hand tools.

This position works in non-public spaces of an airport. The work environment may be hot or cold and could require standing or walking for hours. Candidates must be able to climb ladders and maneuver around the conveyor belts and equipment that support airport baggage handling systems.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
