Position Description:
The SQ&MA Records Center’s charter is to maintain and provide current status and accurate chronological history, which include asbuilt configuration, limited life, class and events on all flight, flight-like hardware and test equipment for which KBR has responsibility. Chronological historical records are utilized to document and verify the accomplishments of all actions affecting the quality status of ESOC processed hardware. These records are maintained throughout all phases of processing, testing, and shipping, and is used for identifying, controlling and maintaining of records, Acceptance Data Packages (ADPs) as necessary to provide evidence of conformity to requirements whether contractual, legal, Audit, Quality system or workmanship are maintained and controlled by QRC and functions as the main repository for Quality controlled documentation and is responsible for archiving all KBR government records on ESOC in accordance with NASA policies and procedures.
Position requirements:
- Ability to compile, analyze and interpret data, with attention to detail, to extract required data, spot non-compliance and verify completeness from work authorizing documents (As Built Bill, Configuration, Limited Life, etc.) and update SARAH with pertinent historical and limited life data to support processing activities relative to flight, On orbit activities, special testing and shipping, and provides numerous reports, both routinely and upon request of these activities.
- Verification of open issues on all shippers, compile documentation and or Acceptance Data Packages (ADPs) for shipment with hardware when applicable. Communicate issues and concerns with internal customers.
- Maintenance and verification of Vendor/Contractor furnished ADPs for updates/input into internal database (SARAH).
- Review all work authorizing documentation generated to ensure part numbers and data changes are reflected in SARAH.
- Perform daily lab rounds to pick up and deliver documentation.
- Perform daily tasks of reviewing, verifying, closing, and updating SARAH for all closed documentation.
- Candidate must understand alpha numeric filing system to verify the accuracy of records and to maintain chronological historical records and indexes utilized to document & verify processing completion.
- Have basic knowledge of adobe pro software for scanning of documentation watermarking, renaming, indexing, and uploading into specified database for customer use as outlined by both internal and NASA standards.
- Work may require sitting or standing for extended periods of time and will require the ability to transfer closed documentation to archiving boxes (which can weight up to 40lbs each) organize, index and record shortages and prep for shipment to NASA facilities.
- Archiving will also require utilizing stairs to access storage area.
- M ust be flexible in a fast-paced environment with the ability to develop/prioritize work schedule based on processing needs, work well within a team environment.
- Communicate within the department any issues/concerns or impacts to schedules.
Participate in internal technical reviews, client reviews, and internal and external audits.

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills are required.
- Experience developing and utilizing report capabilities utilizing automated data systems (i.e., MS Access, SharePoint, Visio, Excel Pivot Tables or other related systems).
- Proficiency using standard office automation tools, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word is preferred
