Position Overview
Storage Corner Group is seeking a full-time Analyst (Acquisitions & Asset Management) for our Bay Area (Los Altos) corporate office. This is an excellent opportunity for a new college graduate or young professional to join our dynamic investment team. The Analyst will support various aspects of the company’s business including acquisition sourcing, market research, financial analysis, and asset (project) management.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquisitions:
- Source self-storage investment opportunities.
- Establish relationships with property owners using the Firm’s proprietary database.
- Prepare investment memos and analyses for property acquisitions.
- Review marketing/offering and third-party research materials.
- Provide ad-hoc support for underwriting and due diligence activities.
Asset/Project Management:
- Support various capital projects and capital events (financings, refinancings, fundings/distributions).
- Track loan document covenants and portfolio performance.
- Review property-level budgets and forecasts.
General Support:
- Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and research to support the Firm’s investment activities across existing and prospective investments.
Required Qualifications:
- Min 1-2 years of experience in commercial real estate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite.
- General understanding of commercial real estate concepts.
- Ability to understand and use financial models in Excel.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
