We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, menu planning, and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation. Responsibilities:
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to quality standards
- Plan and create menus that meet customers' preferences and seasonal availability
- Manage kitchen inventory and control costs effectively
- Coordinate catering events and oversee food preparation for special occasions
- Implement proper kitchen management techniques to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs
- Oversee restaurant management duties when necessary
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Experience in inventory management and cost control
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant field is a plus
