Job Summary:
Growing Healthcare Software and Consulting Company approximately $13 million in size with 60 employees is looking for an experienced Business Analyst. As a Business Analyst, you become the product owner of our line of Chargemaster-specific software.
- Learn current business processes and procedures and train team members on how to utilize new and existing toolsets
· Identify solutions for business and software system enhancements, including automation of processes, minor changes in software and new product development
· Recommend solutions for improving and restructuring company procedures.
· Work with business owners to define enhancements to the systems and write user stories/requirements for development
· Assist with triage of questions and issues reported by internal and external users of the systems through understanding the functionality of the system and/or querying the data to understand the problem
· Monitor systems status and report any progress or changes
· Research and estimate the costs of enhancements and changes to solutions
· Assist in developing project business cases by developing project goals, phases and budgets
· Assess company performance, information and plans by conducting regular tests and analysis.
· Participate in lean/agile activities to monitor progress and provide feedback
· Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Associate Degree / Bachelor’s degree but experience matching job description is more important.
Work Experience:
o 5+ years of system analysis including process transformation
o Experience with customer interaction, supporting data needs and/or empathy interviews related to new enhancements
o Experience in querying, analyzing and managing data. Basic experience using Microsoft SQL Server
Skills:
o Ability to communicate with technical team members and business team members, including working with internal and outsourced development teams
o Ability to influence and assist team members with changes in processes
o Strong communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
o Familiarity with fast paced environments, competing priorities and high growth rates.
o Positive, can-do attitude with a natural ability to instill confidence and influence others.
