The Nuclear Medicine technologist performs complex and specialized tasks involved with the diagnostic imaging and treatment of patients and operation of nuclear medicine related equipment as directed by the physician.

- $50-$76/HOUR
- Plus, $10,000 sign on Bonus

OVERVIEW of Role:
- Position is a mix of INPATIENT and OUTPATIENT
- REPORTS TO: Imaging Services Manager
- Join a team of 6 Nuclear Medicine Technologists
- Schedule: 4 10s per week
- Hospital wide Cerner software system / and PACS
- There are Imaging Aides 7 days per week to turn over rooms and help the Nuclear Medicine Techs in any way
- RNs are staffed in the department 7 days per week.
- The inpatient is general nuclear, and the outpatient is PET and Cardiac SPECT imaging
- There are 4 GE Cameras; 2 in the hospital and 2 in the Outpatient
- GE Discovery / PET Scanner
- Therapeutic procedures such as thyroid ablations, and hyperthyroid treatments
- syngo Dynamics
- Nuclear Medicine equipment, including PET scans and SPECT scans Symbia T Series SPECT/CT
- new isotope to treat Prostate Cancer
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required to have or to be in process of obtaining: California Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
- BLS
- CERTIFICATION: ARRT(N) or NMTCB
- Completion of accredited coursework in nuclear medicine technology or graduate of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program in nuclear medicine
