The Prospective Group (TPG) is seeking a Program Analyst who will be able to adopt their analytical capabilities to policy, business processes, and IT processes as they apply to personnel vetting and the Trusted Workforce 2.0 reform efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop proposed meeting agendas, white papers, briefing materials, document meeting outcomes, and follow-on actions.
- Participate in discussions, meetings, and conference calls with team members, subject matter experts, technical personnel, and other federal agency officials to gain information, investigate facts, and identify courses of action.
- Develop statistical tables and reports, propose new or modified work methods, and recommend management processes and procedures for administering program initiatives.
- Support implementation initiatives resulting from issued policy and recognize gaps or areas for improvement.
- Follow agile processes, prioritizing and communicating work activities
- Work with stakeholders to determine needs and goals of program initiatives.
- Identify the benefits and drawbacks of existing and proposed processes.
- Identify failings in program processes and recommend changes.
- Develop and communicate strategies to senior leaders on how to business operations.
- Keep up with incoming information and cross team initiatives and “connect the dots” to facilitate the sharing of information across the program teams.
- Participate in the development of program schedules.
Skills:
- Research: Research skills allow the analysts to analyze business processes efficiently. The analyst can use these skills to collect relevant data, organize it appropriately, and make informed suggestions.
- Analysis/Problem Solving Skills: The analyst will need proficient analysis skills to collect and review performance data. This helps the analyst to understand current business operations and determine the best way to improve them.
- Communication (Written & Verbal): The analyst will require strong verbal communication skills to lead presentations, discuss program goals, and interview employees, as needed. Written communication skills allow the analyst to conduct research, analyze key performance indicators, and prepare reports on their findings.
- Computer literacy: The analyst will require computer skills to conduct research and prepare reports and presentations. The analyst must be proficient with Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, MS Project, and MS Visio, to develop and present deliverables to stakeholder and senior leaders. The analyst must also be familiar Agile processes and Azure DevOps to manage assigned tasks.
- Attention to Detail: The analyst pays close attention to detail, ensuring grammar and format is clear and consistent. The analyst completes a thorough review of drafted and completed products to ensure a quality product is delivered.
- Time management: The analyst is required to follow deadlines to implement changes and reach shared business goals. Time management helps the analyst understand the priority of assigned tasks and ensure timelines are met.
- Self-Driven: The analyst takes initiative to identify program needs and demonstrates the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, managing time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high quality products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related subject (e.g., business, engineering, etc.)
- 3+ years relevant experience
