Responsibilities:
- Framing and building wooden structures, including walls, roofs and flooring
- Doing joinery work that includes installing joists and studs, installing flashing and securing structural supports
- Frame structures such as outdoor patios, cabanas, fireplace walls, and tiny homes.
- Designing custom furniture, cabinets, cupboards and interior walls
Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings and building in compliance with local code standards
Skills:
- Proficient in carpentry techniques and tools
- Experience in concrete forming and metal stud framing
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans accurately
- Strong attention to detail for precise measurements and cuts
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues on the job site
