Description of Duties:
- Acquiring the knowledge of when a project is no longer on budget or schedule and bringing this knowledge to the attention of the Foreman or Site Supervisor.
- Having the ability to understand directions and be able to implement said directions with little to no supervision.
- Having the ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions.
- Be able to give instructions on measuring and arranging materials to establish a layout based on blueprints or instructions.
- Cut and shape structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall.
- Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using various hand tools.
Skills and Requirements:
- Reliable transportation to and from the job sites.
- Knowledge of construction. Residential and commercial.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction or a related field.
- Must have the ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test is a must.
