Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to users by troubleshooting and resolving computer-related issues. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills and gain hands-on experience in the networking field of IT. This individual will work closely with senior engineers to ensure the smooth operation of our network systems, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the planning and execution of network projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues such as network congestion, latency, and connectivity problems.
- Assist in the implementation of network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control lists.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide technical support to end-users and assist in resolving network-related issues.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in networking technologies.
- Identify and resolve technical problems related to hardware and network issues.
- Assist users with technical questions and issues, providing clear and concise explanations and solutions.
- Identify and resolve network issues, ensuring that all systems are functioning properly.
- Work closely with the IT team to resolve complex technical issues
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Currently enrolled in or has obtained courses pertaining to Information Technology
- A strong desire to learn and grow as a Network Engineer
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
