SCHEDULE: The standard work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. However, it's important to be aware that, as an hourly employee, there may be instances when you will be required to work beyond these hours to fulfill the job requirements, leading to overtime pay.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Satisfactorily performing and/or achieving the following Responsibilities are essential duties of the job. Job duties are dispersed by branch Lead Parts Specialist, Parts and Service Manager, or Operations Manager.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Ascendum products and actively engage in training programs. Notify management of any additional training needs as necessary.
- Pick orders from stock and ship or deliver them to customers and shop will-call locations as required. Ensure that will-call areas are clean, organized, and orders picked up are marked as complete in the Dealership Management System (DMS).
- Perform various warehousing functions, including receiving stock, handling freight shipments, and replenishing shelves with inventory.
- Ensure timely receipt of parts, update bin location information accurately at the time of receipt, and maintain the accuracy of inventory records.
- Process orders that require shipping in a timely manner, ensuring prompt and accurate shipments.
- Conduct daily cycle counts as directed by management and assist with year-end parts inventory counts.
- Periodically perform warehouse bin location maintenance to optimize storage efficiency.
- Check in freight shipments and verify that delivered items match the manifest. Notify Lead Parts Specialist, Parts and Service Manager, or Operations Manager of any issues requiring order discrepancy resolution.
- Store all packaging materials neatly and orderly. Prepare and schedule returns as needed.
- Conduct daily forklift safety inspections and promptly report any issues or maintenance requirements to management.
- Maintain a presentable, clean, and organized work area in compliance with 5S standards.
- Ensure that all outbound shipments have correct General Ledger (GL) account coding.
- Create Bills of Lading (BOLs) and schedule freight pickups for outgoing parts and attachments.
- Ensure that the warehouse has an adequate supply of shipping materials and notify management when replenishment is needed.
- Pick, pack, and ship manufacturer parts and core returns in a timely manner, adhering to established procedures.
- File and maintain signed customer order documents, purchase orders, and invoices for accurate record-keeping.
- Review and approve FileBound assignments on a daily basis.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES/PROFICIENCIES – Satisfactorily achieving and/or meeting the following Experience, Competencies, and Proficiencies that are essential duties of the job:
- Experience and/or Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in warehousing is a plus.
- Computer Skills: The employee must be proficient with computers and software required to accomplish the responsibilities of this position. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or parts handling is preferred.
- Forklift operation certification is a plus.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to conduct equipment inspections.
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems and software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Proven ability to complete work with energy and enthusiasm.
