The pharmacy Technician shall be responsible for Labeling Compounded Sterile Products (CSP), maintaining the sterile compounding area (cleanroom) and following all Company SOP’s under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but not limited to:

· Label all required types of sterile preparations accurately and in compliance with the batch record.
· Operates all labeling equipment accurately and according to policy and procedure.
· Completing batch records for orders using good documentation practices, ensuring drugs and supplies are in data before use.
· Ensure the compounding room and related equipment are cleaned and maintained daily pursuant to the Company’s SOP’s and applicable state and federal regulations
· Proper labeling and packaging finished products
· Completes any other duties designated by the pharmacist and/or supervisor.
· Cooperates with team members to accomplish departmental goals
· Understands and adheres to policies and procedures
· Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the job, completing all annual competencies and skills validations
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY
· Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
· Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in Texas (TSBP) and/or (CPhT) required
· IV compounding experience (preferred)
· High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
· Knowledge of cGMP regulations as it pertains to 21 CFR 210, 21 CFR 211, and USP standards. Preferred
· Able to work a full shift with bunny suit garb and goggles in a sterile environment.
Able to work weekends and overtime (as required).
- Clean medications and supplies according to standard operating procedures and transfer into compounding pharmacy classified area.
- Organize kits and compounding pharmacy supplies inside classified pharmacy area utilized for compounding of sterile products
- Transfer finished products from classified pharmacy area to post-production for inspection, labeling, and packaging.
- Package and box finished goods
- Perform routine daily cleaning of classified pharmacy compounding area and pre production staging area (1SO-7 and ISO-8 areas).
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices. (Preferred)
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow documents such as standard operating procedures, manuals and diagrams.
- Ability to follow instructions and apply common sense.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively on a team.
- Ability to multi-task and handle various levels of workload
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
EDUCATION&EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma (or GED) required
- Experience in a cGMP environment recommended, but not required.
