**Job Title:** Administrative Assistant **Company:** Pajama Program **Company Description:** Pajama Program is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing new pajamas and books to children in need across the U.S. **Job Summary:** We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our organization. **Duties:** - Serve as a personal assistant to management, handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings - Utilize computerized systems such as QuickBooks for data entry and record keeping - Demonstrate strong computer literacy skills to assist with various administrative tasks - Support administrative functions within a non-profit setting, ensuring efficient office operations - Previous experience in a dental office or medical receptionist role is beneficial - Ability to type accurately and efficiently, acting as a clerk for documentation and correspondence - Assist with order entry processes to maintain inventory and supplies **Requirements:** - Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role - Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred - Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite - Excellent organizational and time management abilities - Knowledge of administrative procedures and basic accounting principles - Experience in a non-profit environment is a plus - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly Join our team at Pajama Program and make a difference in the lives of children across the U.S. Your role as an Administrative Assistant will be crucial in supporting our mission of providing comfort and literacy to those in need.
