As the Merchandise Operations Assistant you will support in receiving inbound inventory, quality checking units, and recording it in the inventory management system. You will also be asked to support on product stocking and fulfillment during peak business times. Your key responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders to facilitate the seamless intake, receiving, quality checking and fulfilling of goods.
Job Details:
- Partner with the warehouse manager to understand inbound weekly volume and to strategize receiving based on priorities of the business.
- Manage receiving inbound inventory, record in the inventory system and coordinate with team members on stocking product.
- Quality check inbound units to ensure they are compliant for sale
- Verify receiving accuracy by cross-referencing Manifests/Purchase Orders with the actual units received to maintain precision
- Support with and create store listings as required
- Work cross-functionally with our Operations/Distribution team, Merchandising team & Planning team.
- Post-Secondary education
- Experience in a merchandising assistant role and/or warehouse experience
- Physically able to shift product throughout the warehouse (upwards of 15+ lbs)
- Tech savvy- You are comfortable with technology and able to learn new systems
- Teamwork principles – Works well cross functionally with a variety of teams (Merchandising,Customer Care, Tech, Planning)
- Self-managed and guided by business objectives with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Possess creative problem-solving skills
- Act as a vital member of Team Rebby through punctuality and professional conduct
- Work Environment: On-site, Brooklyn office
