The Parts Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for the Parts Department.

Parts Receptionist Responsibilities include:
- Greet customers and visitors and direct them to their destination
- Develop a working relationship with customers and their business
- Assist in handling inter-company mail
- Keep up with email correspondence in a timely manner, communicate with, and be informed of CAT generated programs such as PCC, CAT CENTRAL and CAT CARD
- Produce Daniel Group and Signature reporting for Houston and Satellite branches
- On Call schedule ownership and communication internally
- Monitor and assess novelty order levels in our customer areas and communicate with the assigned inventory team
- Manage a tidy customer facing area, to include the below tasks:
- Dust and straighten novelty displays and racks
- Wipe Counter and Will Call keyboards, screens, phones, and counter spaces
- Start fresh pots of coffee – turn burner on/off as needed
- Assist in special projects and department-wide communication as needed
- Order copy paper and order manage supplies
- Support occasional management requests, such as scheduling and organizing large meetings, supplying breakfast to meetings, assisting with department events, etc.
- Answer phone calls that cannot be taken over the counter and assign to appropriate counter sales representative
- Communicate frequently with internal and external customers
- Interact with waiting customers and utilize resources to thank customers for their patience
Parts Receptionist Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Experience working in a professional office environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- An energetic personality with good organizational skills and self-motivated
- Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish department goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a professional phone etiquette in stressful situations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional office attire and hygiene, PPE required in safety-sensitive areas
- Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Bilingual
- Schedule flexibility as this position may require Saturdays, depending on department workload and demand
