This is a remote position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Organizes and creates patient demographic information, schedules and charges into the
appropriate table spaces
Monitors error dashboards and corrects information in the practice management system
Verifies the accuracy and completeness of demographic information and/or charges entered and
received
Reconciles charges received to patient logs
Escalates discrepancies in information that result in a delay of the charge entry or errors in the
system
Daily maintenance of workflow logs
Communicates regularly with facility or clinics to obtain necessary information
Communicates with Corporate Coding regarding discrepancies, errors and omissions.

Education and/or Experience Preferred: High school diploma or general education degree
(GED); and 3 years’ experience with insurance billing requirements and account follow up
procedures including a general understanding of ICD9 and CPT coding; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and
memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in
one-on-one and small group situations
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written
or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in
standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of
practice management systems and general computer applications, including the ability to type and
ten-key with speed and accuracy.
