Care Coordinator / Office Manager
Job Description
Job Summary:
Seeking a reliable, personable, and adaptive self-starter to function as Office Manager, as well as, assist with Care Coordination responsibilities for our growing in-home care agency.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED, along with two years related experience. Experience in homecare or knowledge of healthcare industry is required. Current or prior experience as a RN, LPN or CNA is highly desirable.
Requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Prior experience with Quickbooks Desktop a plus.
Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Must be able to perform and manage multiple responsibilities concurrently and work well under pressure.
Must be a team player with a growth mindset
Duties:
- Answer telephone and perform client and caregiver intakes.
- Support Care Provider hiring process, including: posting jobs, processing applications, background screening, collecting and verifying required documentation, and checking references.
- Conduct Care Provider orientations and maintain Care Provider files in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Supervise caregivers and manage caregiver appreciation and awards program.
- Schedule Care Providers for ongoing and open assignments based on Care Provider qualifications and availability.
- Support marketing efforts by attending networking events, visiting prospects, posting on social media, and building out and maintaining client referral database.
- Maintain Care Recipient, Care Provider and Client database.
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
- Ability and willingness to fill-in for Care Provider in the event of emergency or last-minute callout
- Assist with entering transactions in Quickbooks, reconciling monthly statements and preparing client invoices
Position:
Position is full time during operating hours of 9a-5p Monday through Friday in office. Flexibility with some remote work is possible if performance goals are met. Availability outside of normal working hours for occasional issues a plus.
