Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsible for assisting with the preparation of various financial reports, forecasts and analyses for the departments, cost & budget, expense reporting, purchasing, management reporting, operational reporting, and sales compensation.
Planning and Analysis
Provides complex data analysis and validates information is complete, accurate, and reliable.
Assist in the preparation of the Delphi Financial Group three-year plan.
Assist in the preparation of monthly budget/forecasting review with budget owners.
Process Improvement
Expense Reporting
Preparer of Expense department month end, quarter end, year-end responsibilities, and fixed assets.
Preparer of purchase orders and assists in the payables processes.
Preparer of IFRS expense reporting, including, quarter-end & year-end reporting.
Preparer of expense analysis including but not limited to general expenses, commissions, taxes, Medical/health costs, deferred commissions, deferred expenses, amortization of DAC, capital expenditures, & depreciation/amortization. Responsible for GAAP & IFRS lease reporting requirements.
Maintain the lease accounting software (Leasequery) for GAAP and IFRS lease accounting.
Assists in the preparation of expense rolling forecasts and budget.
Coordinate with various departments in order to support departmental responsibilities.
Develops sufficient, accurate and reliable financial information to support data driven decision making.
Ad hoc reporting as needed.
Documentation
Customer Service
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
Strong general knowledge of accounting/finance principles and practices.
Demonstrated ability to apply troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
Ability to maintain a consistently high degree of accuracy.
Ability to Travel: None
Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company.
