Escrow Officer Assistant
We are looking for experienced Escrow Officer Assistants to support our fast- growing escrow team.
The ideal candidate must be able to open, process, fund and close an escrow, be able to work in a high-pressure environment, have a positive attitude, and a high level of customer service. Knowledge of RBJ Computer system is a PLUS. Individuals must be extremely fast at solving problems and have experience as an escrow officer assistant in the past.
Responsibilities:
- Depositing and handling escrow funds/documents
- Ordering title commitments, tax certificates, loan documents, and other necessary files
- Resolving any existing issues with a real estate title such as liens or defects
- Maintaining escrow documents and records
- Scheduling closings and preparing closing documents
- Informing customers of the current status of the closing process
- Providing excellent customer service to clients.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Keeping a portfolio of clients and previous closings
- Provide clerical support to escrow officer during the opening
- Assist escrow officer by creating and editing correspondence and documents, maintaining files and records, and providing excellent customer service to clients.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an escrow officer assistant (3 YEARS EXPERIENCE)
- Experience using RBJ software is a PLUS
- Experience with accounting and billing a PLUS
- Customer Service and Concierge experience a must
- Real Estate license not required
- Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
- Professional level verbal and written communications skills.
- MUST be able to work with different personalities
- MUST be familiar with using Adobe Acrobat and the Microsoft Office Suite
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24-$29 Hourly pay + Benefits ( Commission based on experience )
