Ynot Italian General Manager Job Description
Oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve departmental objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Performs all duties of the departmental positions he or she supervises
2. Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs completely.
3. Directly supervises and coordinates all departmental operations.
4. Ensures that guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service always
5. Produce departmental labor schedules to handle the anticipated business activity and to ensure labor cost objectives are met.
6. Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, the appearance of the facility, and sanitation and cleanliness through training employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
7. Assist the General Manager in employment, discipline, and termination decisions.
8. Continually strive to develop staff in all areas, including technical and customer service related.
9. Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
10. Ensure that all equipment is maintained in clean and excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.
11. Ensure that all products are received in the correct unit count and condition and that deliveries are performed per the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures.
12. Ensures a high level of sanitation and cleanliness is maintained in all areas of the restaurant, ensuring that proper sanitation and food safety procedures, as defined by applicable local, state and federal regulatory agencies, are implemented, maintained and followed by all employees at all times.
13. Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and assist the general manager or owner in administering prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for all violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.
14. Performs any other job functions as necessary to ensure the continued smooth operation of the business.
15. Assists the General Manager in conducting periodic meetings with employees to discuss and/or correct problem areas or areas of concern.

Qualifications and Credentials
· 21 years of age with prior restaurant management experience preferred
· Food safety certified
· Completes any required Manager's State Certification

Ø Able to bend, lift and carry up to 25 pounds
3. Computer Skills
Ø Basic PC and data entry skills are highly preferred
Working Conditions
Supervisors perform their duties in the same environments as the employees they are supervising.
Work Schedule
Supervisors work full-time schedules. Work schedules may vary and will involve day and nighttime hours during the week and on weekends.
