What We Are Looking For
The Supervisor of Accounting Services instructs, monitors and trains the teams involved in preparing their clients for the GL conversion process. The team is responsible for providing guidance on best practices related to KeyStone system configuration and functionality, helping to finalize new processes, GL training, data mapping/planning, and testing. Responsible for supervising the daily activities of the team. This role interfaces with internal and external key influencers and decision-makers across Development, Conversion Services, Client Services, Project Management, Sales personnel as well as the converting Credit Unions.
Requirements:
- Supervise, motivate and guide the Accounting Services team.
- Assist in developing necessary documentation, procedures, setting and managing priorities and driving a cross-functional team of resources from requirements definition through product launch with a high degree of quality (agile methodology).
- Assign Accounting Analysts to projects as well as maintain travel schedules as needed.
- Work closely and collaboratively with peer Corelation teams to ensure cooperation and coordination for each project.
- Oversee hiring process with assistance from Director of Conversion Services.
- Oversee coaching/mentoring staff with guidance as needed from Director of Conversion Services.
- Train new Accounting Analysts as well as enhance the skills of existing analysts.
- Overall responsible for writing and administering performance evaluations and disciplinary procedures with the assistance of the Director of Conversion Services as needed.
- Ability and willingness to assist, offer guidance, and complete an ongoing project, ensuring deadlines are not missed or extended when possible.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Why You Are A Perfect Fit
Experience
Three to five years of similar or related experience.
At least two years of experience leading teams.
Significant experience in working with and leading teams responsible for converting credit union clients to their new core with an emphasis on GL conversions.
