Warehouse Manager
Position Overview: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, logistics coordination, demand forecasting, and process improvement. The Warehouse Manager will be a leader with the ability to motivate and develop a team of employees to achieve company goals. The Warehouse Manager must have knowledge of MRS systems, compliance and safety procedures, and budget management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes, procedures, and standards
- Manage and direct the daily operations of the warehouse team
- Monitor and track inventory levels and report any discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal and external departments to ensure accuracy of orders and shipments
- Forecast demand and advise on inventory levels to ensure optimum stock levels
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve service levels
- Participate in the development of operational budget and manage warehouse expenses
- Maintain and review safety policies and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Prepare regular performance reports and analyze data to monitor progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience working with ERP systems, MRS systems, and reporting systems
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Well-developed organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in budget management and cost control
- Knowledge of warehouse processes and safety regulations
