Job Summary:
The incumbent is responsible for billing oversight for Centro San Vicente grant requirements. The Grant Billing Coordinator works in conjunction with the Chief Financial Officer and Grant Writer to ensure timely audit reporting, revenue tracking of invoices, proper job coding, against budgets, and to resolve funding issues/inquiries.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare financial reports and invoices for submission to grantors, ensuring compliance with grantor guidelines and timelines.
- Monitor grant budgets, expenditures, and projections to ensure funds are utilized in accordance with grant agreements and federal regulations.
- Assist with contract and revenue tracking to ensure revenue booked in proper periods,
- and contract totals are tracked. Ensure no overbilling.
- Work with department/program managers and the Director of Finance to track revenue, resolve funding issues, and ensure proper job coding against budgets.
- Monitor grant expenditures to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Manage post-award activities and perform financial reporting.
- Provide monthly reporting to CFO and Grants Manager for appropriate job coding and reconcile discrepancies timely.
- Investigate and correct abnormal job coding on invoices in Abila.
- Coordinate’s coding of expenditures related to assigned government grants.
- Assist with contract and revenue tracking sheet to ensure revenue booked in proper
- periods, and contract totals are tracked; ensure no overbilling.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy for reconciliation of accounts.
- Knowledge or experience using automated billing systems.
- Manage post award activities and perform financial reporting.
- Familiarity with grant funding processes, including grant requirements, reporting, and revenue tracking.
- Proficiency with automated systems including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Monitor grant expenditures to ensure compliance and regulations and policies.
- Monitor grant budgets, expenditures, and projections to ensure funds are utilized in accordance with grant agreements and federal regulations.
- Tech savvy and eager to optimize technology.

Minimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma required
- Associates Degree preferred.
- Prior experience at a Non-Profit Health Care Facility.
- Proficiency with automated systems including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Exceptional ability to multi-task to meet program and business goals.
- Outstanding audio, verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
- Exhibits initiative and flexibility.
- Must have proven skill level to interpret project documents, including but not limited to, timesheets, spreadsheets and billing documents.
