As a UX researcher on NPE, you'll collaborate directly with a tightly integrated pod, enjoying substantial freedom to conceive, build, and launch new products. Research is critical to our organization's success. Formative research identifies latent needs or global problems to address with product solutions. Iterative design research shapes early ideas into testable prototypes, while creative evaluative research refines and prepares these products for the market.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs, and engineers to create impactful products
- Develop and execute research roadmaps collaboratively
- Lead various research studies across all product development stages
- Contribute to product strategy and execution
- Augment research team work by managing research vendors
Skills/ Experience:
- Excel in both verbal and written communication, which is crucial for effective collaboration
- Ability to solve complex problems and contribute to successful project execution
- Understanding of the importance of customer satisfaction and strong interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well independently and manage your time effectively
- Previous experience contributing to ongoing research initiatives
- Extensive knowledge of collecting and analyzing data in a lab setting
- Experience with storytelling and ability to get traction with various audiences
- High level of expertise in consumer-oriented software
- Proficiency in data and utilizing numbers to define and support hypotheses
Education:
- BA/BS in a human behavior related field, human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics
- 5 + years of experience in related field
