Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk
Reports to: Director of Administration
Location: Leland, MS
Basic Purpose:
Responsible for all payments for goods and services necessary for the operation of the company.
Assigned Tasks:
- Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Investigates and resolves any discrepancies.
- Communicates with co-workers, suppliers, and others in courteous and professional manner.
- Processes all payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assists others in company accounting/financial department as needed.
- Answer telephone in a professional and friendly manner.
- Greet customers and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist walk-in customers with product orders.
- Must become knowledgeable in operating of our computers and software programs. Must become proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Must be flexible to respond to spontaneous requests for information by management while working well under pressure.
Daily Tasks:
- Close end-of-day. Reconcile all prior day route tickets and route sales activity. Process end of day before 12:00 PM daily. Print and distribute any necessary sales reports.
- Post any AR payments.
- Maintain route and driver/salesman information.
- Maintain customer master files to insure all customers have current tax numbers and all other information is current and correct.
- Process customer tax notices and provide copies to the driver/salesman.
- Responsible for scheduling the conference room for meetings and make sure it is neat and clean prior to use by customers.
Monthly Tasks:
- Assign training to all employees and track monthly trainings.
As Needed:
- Assist Administrative Manager with various tasks.
- Order PPG.
- Order office supplies.

Basic Requirements:
- Experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a multiple entity environment.
- Excellent computer skills; experience with Sage 100 a plus.
- High School diploma or some college preferred.
Working Schedule: M-F 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
