This is a high-volume call center role where this person will take an average of 55 calls per day for multiple medical groups/hospital departments while applying correct workflows and protocols

Simultaneously collects information from patients and enters data into electronic health record system (called EPIC)

Schedules appointments, registers and verifies insurance eligibility, informs the patients of their financial responsibility

Option for remote work after 6 to 9 months upon completion of a successful training period

One year of previous healthcare experience, medical insurance, or patient scheduling preferred

One year of customer service experience and one year of inbound call center experience required

Must have basic computer skills including proficiencies in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Outlook, as well as the ability to type 25 words per minute.

Must demonstrate importance of attendance and maintain a positive work environment, arriving on time and with minimal absenteeism.
