Job Summary:
As the Regional Retail Sales Manager for Ohio and the Mid-Atlantic, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and expanding retail sausage brand sales within this region. This position involves managing existing customer relationships, identifying and executing new business opportunities, implementing strategic product placements and marketing programs, and managing broker networks.
Market Region:_ Ohio, extending through New England, Pennsylvania, and down to the Mid-Atlantic states, including Delaware, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, and West Virginia._
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel extensively across the designated territory to visit accounts, focusing on expanding business opportunities and strengthening existing relationships.
- Manage brokerage companies to implement our brand strategies.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within the retail channel to ensure consistent growth and profitability.
- Launch new products, educate retailers on strategic product placement, and maintain program implementations to optimize product visibility and sales.
- Conduct ongoing training sessions and attend sales meetings with distributors and retailers to foster strong business relationships.
- Communications Coordinator:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the customer network regarding new items, availability, and marketing resources.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet sales quotas.
Compensation:
The base salary range for the role is $85,000 - $100,000 based on job experience level. This role is eligible for sales commission/bonus as well.

- Achieve and exceed sales targets within the territory through effective market development and relationship management.
- Successfully introduce and establish new products in retail locations, achieving strategic product placements.
- Consistently deliver effective training and support to distributors and retailers, enhancing their ability to sell and promote products.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty through proactive communication and problem-solving.
Job Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of sales management experience, preferably in the specialty/grocery food industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and Power Bi.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and driven by results.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Extensive daily and occasional overnight travel by car, requiring long periods of sitting and driving.
- Frequent loading and unloading of promotional materials and product samples, which may require lifting items up to 30 pounds.
- Regular exposure to varied weather conditions during travel and outdoor client interactions.
- Office work involves continuous use of computer screens and participation in virtual and in-person meetings.
Work Environment:
- This position requires extensive travel within the Ohio and Mid-Atlantic region, including urban and rural areas.
- Work from home office when not traveling for work and visit production plants located in Vandergrift, PA and New Haven, CT quarterly.
- Frequent interactions with clients, brokerage companies and participation in meetings or training sessions.
- Dynamic and fast-paced environment requiring excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Travel: Minimum of four days per week traveling to client accounts; the remaining work time will be from home.
- Overtime: May be necessary depending on business needs (client events, industry shows), which could include some weekends and non-standard hours.
