Job Opportunity: Computational Analyst for Human Milk and Microbiome Research
Are you passionate about data, machine learning, and biology?
This is a unique chance to join a pioneering computational research team dedicated to enhancing women and infants' health. This opportunity will allow you to engage in meaningful projects aimed at computationally expanding our knowledge of human milk and the microbiome during a vital developmental stage. Using multi-omic data from large longitudinal birth cohorts in North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa, this research not only offers the promise of revealing important insights but also has the potential to influence future global health policies and practices for mothers and their children. Embark with us on this insightful journey to uncover the wonders of human milk and the microbiome!
Location: Joint position between Shenhav Lab (PI: Liat Shenhav) at NYU and THRiVE Discovery Lab (PI: Meghan Azad) at University of Manitoba, Canada. The position will be physically based in New York City.
Project Focus: Molecular characterization of human milk on an unprecedented scale using a systems biology approach, with an emphasis on its relationship with the human microbiome and infant development.
We are seeking: A highly talented and motivated analyst to develop computational methods tailored to the study of human milk and infant development.
