Boeing North Charleston, contracting with Vortex Aviation, are seeking Avionic Techs for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner program:
**Must have one year of aerospace experience to be considered, and be willing to work all three shifts available (1st,2nd or 3rd). Vortex Aviation can not guarantee any shift**
Description:
Daily work includes:
Routing of wire harness to supports per blueprint instruction & Boeing specifications for the 787
- Building connectors, splicing wires, crimping, and terminating wires.
- Installing connectors to receptacles and electronic components.
- Performing repairs, rework processes to incorporate authorized changes outlined by engineering instructions.
- Fiber optic clean and inspection, light loss testing and installation.
- Bond & Ground including CRNs, jumpers, ground stud installation & resistance testing.
- Verifying installations of assemblies by team members as an “MFPP” Quality delegated MT.
- Inspect to ensure First Pass Quality (FPQ) is attained per engineering drawings and specifications.
- Verify and ensure FAA compliance with Quality Management System.
Payrate:
Local candidates: $30 per hour
Out of the area (75 miles): $30 per hour, tax per diem $7.25 taxed, $22.75 untaxed
