We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Officer to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining patient medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain medical records and ensure accuracy and completeness
- Ensure proper storage, retrieval, and security of medical records
- Process requests for medical records in accordance with privacy regulations
- Input patient information into electronic health record systems
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to update and correct patient records
- Assist in audits and quality assurance activities related to medical records
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a medical office setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare systems
- Proficiency in managing electronic health record systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of medical records management best practices
