Your responsibilities at waterdrop®:
- As a Senior Operations Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for optimal delivery and fulfillment processes and forecasting of our US-wide product demand
- You will evaluate potential suppliers in the market, assess the effectiveness of different supply strategies, negotiate competitive prices and decide on cooperation with partners
- As the first point of contact for our suppliers, you coordinate the day-to-day supply processes, keep track of potential supply risks and find tailored solutions to any problems that may arise
- You act at all times as an interface between our sales departments, marketing, and our supply partners
- You establish optimal processes, know the market inside out, and are always one step ahead
Your qualifications and experience:
- You have successfully completed your studies or training in the field of business and/or logistics
- You have built up great expertise in the field of logistics in more than 5 years on the job
- You already have relevant experience in (e-commerce) fulfillment
- You have successfully led, coached, and developed a team
- You have a strong analytical understanding and a good "relationship" with numbers
- You are known as a "troubleshooter," keep a cool head when unexpected problems arise, and always find a suitable solution, fully familiar with ERP, WMS and Procurement tools
- You consider communication one of your core competencies, and no one can fool you in negotiations.
- You love strategic planning as much as operational implementation and have a strong hands-on mentality
- You are an absolute organizational talent and always keep the overview
