FRONT OF HOUSE
The Front of House (FOH) team member plays a multifaceted role essential for ensuring an exceptional experience at Saluhall. This position involves greeting and welcoming guests, accurately taking and processing orders, and serving food and beverages with efficiency and courtesy. Beyond direct customer interaction, the Front of House team member is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining and service areas replenishing inventory supplies. FOH team members also handle payments, address customer inquiries, and ensure the comfort of guests throughout their visit, while maintaining a friendly demeanor. FOH team members significantly contribute to Saluhall's operational success, aiming for continuous improvement in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

Welcome guests promptly and warmly as they enter Saluhall.

Accurately take and input orders into the POS system, ensuring any special requests are noted.

Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring accuracy in charges and returns.

Prepare and deliver food and beverages to the customer's table or pick-up area promptly.

Keep the dining and service areas clean, including tables, countertops, and floors.

Ensure that all FOH stations are fully stocked.

Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, and address any customer questions.

Listen to and address customer feedback or complaints with professionalism and a focus on resolution.

Work closely with both Front of House and Back of House staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

Adhere to all restaurant health and safety policies and guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment for customers and staff.
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:

Most work tasks are performed indoors.Temperature is moderated and controlled by facility environmental systems

Able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period of time

Able to lift up to 25lbs. and on a regular and continuing basis

Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks

Manual dexterity required to use and operate all necessary equipment

Talking, hearing and seeing (vision) occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, Supervisors and other Employees

Has an open and flexible availability as schedules may change based on business demand
