General Manager Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Objective
To provide support and leadership for managers and chefs in their responsibilities and accountabilities to reach the goals and expectations set forth by Our Client. To operate on a daily basis under the premise that "people are and will continue to be the cornerstone" of Our Client's success. To develop managers and chefs using Our Client company's principles and values as best practices. General Managers is to be responsible for the items below, but not limited to, based on Regional Manager discretion and direction.
Primary Responsibilities
- Guest service and satisfaction... Driving repeat business through exceeding guest expectations day in and day out!
- Execution of company service and food quality expectations
- Weekly management team meeting
- Support through accountability of managers and chefs of their responsibilities
- Documented one on one development meetings with each manager & chef once a period
- A company "ambassador" through strict adherence of policy and procedures
- Maintains company accounting practices and appropriate timelines associated
- Maintains company SOP practices and appropriate timelines associated
- Maintains company checklist, line checks, and flight plan and appropriate timelines associated
- Maintains working environment as a result of adherence to employee handbook
- Sales forecast and projections for scheduling and ordering, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly
- Weekly P&L review and recap with plan to improve opportunities or maintain success's
- Weekly schedules reviewed and posted by appropriate times for FOH/BOH
- Financial performance of restaurant operations
Secondary Responsibilities
- Supplies category maintenance and cost to include, office, light bulbs, etc.
- Maintenance of china, glass, and silver inventory
- R&M SOP for accountability and maintenance standards are upheld
- Quarterly store audit to maintain clean and sanitary business with high food and service quality
- Period end recap and planning of upcoming period communicated to management team
- Company general manager meeting attendance and communication of materials covered
- Holiday recaps and materials associated with; specials, reservations, staffing, red book, notes
