As a QA Analyst you evaluate software and firmware, testing to verify that functionality is aligned with specifications and standards. A QA Analyst runs tests on new or modified software programs to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Strong understanding of our products, processes, tools and technology.
2. Identify, analyze, and document defects, inconsistencies, and other issues in software and firmware.
3. Represent quality assurance team during product design discussions.
4. Own the effort to document, track, and communicate software test plans and test results.
5. Participate in Agile ceremonies, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
6. Leverage excellent communication skills to build trusting, collaborative relationships.
7. Independently conduct integration testing, integrating various software and hardware/firmware in networked and non-networked environments.
8. Establish department processes, standards, procedures and practices.
9. Actively participate in skills training (languages, design methodologies, and technologies) in order to continuously grow as a QA Analyst.

Requirements:
Education Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality assurance environment.
