Restaurant Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our bustling dining establishment. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. We are looking for wine service and selling experience. This will be a large focus. Level 2 Sommelier would be a great advantage. Experience in wine buying and wine list maintenance is preferred.
Duties:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, overseeing kitchen operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service and uphold brand standards.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and manage food costs effectively.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative menus and specials.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- We need a person who will dive into the company and learn it top to bottom. Someone who will commit the time time it needs to understand issues and find solutions.
-Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Knowledge of food service management, inventory control, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to conduct interviews, hire, and train new staff members effectively.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
-Knowledge of wine is an absolute must.
