Sundays, 9 am; shift ends in the afternoon. Option to combine with Housekeeping or Breakfast Attendant position.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision of the Operations Manager, ensures hotel linen is washed, dried, folded and ironed as scheduled. The list of duties and responsibilities below is illustrative only of the tasks performed by this position and is not all-inclusive.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Picks up and sorts all used linen and loads into appropriate carts or machines.
- Pre-treats laundry for stains.
- Loads and unloads washers and dryers, operates industrial machines as instructed
- Folds towels by hand, presses and fold table linens, folds sheets, hand folds pillow cases, blankets, bed pads, etc.
- Sorts and separates damaged or stained linen, i.e., to be repaired or used as rags.
- Observes safety rules and maintains a safe environment.
- Cleans lint traps from dryers daily; checks and cleans drains as necessary.

Keeps laundry room clean and tidy.
- Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
- Performs other related duties as required or directed, such as stripping rooms, picking up laundry from floors, and assisting with Housekeeping Shifts.
- Understands full duties of Housekeeper role, often performing Housekeeper job when asked.
